Tribunal in Kano to decide Gov Ganduje’s fate today

There is anxiety in Kano ahead of today’s judgments by the election petition tribunals in the cases challenging the election of Governors Abdullahi Umar Ganduje reported Dailytrust. Bayelsa speaker, Isenah impeached

A faction of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly on Monday impeached Tonye Isenah as speaker of the house. Hoodlums invaded the premises of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly shooting indiscriminately over an alleged attempt by a faction of the house to impeach Isenah. Isenah was expected to resign today following pressure mounted on him by some Peoples Democratic Party leaders to quit his position ahead of the November 16th governorship election. The impeached Isenah was replaced by Obolo who is representing Southern Ijaw Constituency 2 in the state’s Assembly.

IPOB: Rochas Okorocha reveals why he could join Nnandi Kanu’s group

Senator Rochas Okorocha, the ex-governor of Imo state has revealed why he may join the Nnamdi Kanu-led IPOB group if the latter can convince him reasonably, reported Dailypost. Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, Thursday decry fake videos making rounds on the social media. He Noted that some of them are fake. The minister made this information at a press conference in Abuja as reported Vanguard Nigeria. AA party Chairman, Kenneth Udeze arrested by police not Kidnapped

The report in various media that The National Chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Chief Kenneth Udeze, was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Dutse Alhaji, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja in the early hours of Friday was not true, but in police custody, The National Tribune reports. It was gathered that three of his associates had earlier been arrested by the operatives of the Zone 11 of the Nigerian Police Force, with Headquarters in Osogbo, the Osun State capital and were currently being investigated before Udeze’s arrest was effected on Friday.
