Crystal Palace defeat Man Utd, to break 31 year record

Crystal Palace full-back Patrick van Aanholt netted in the 93rd minute to see his side earn their first three point of the season at Old Trafford.

32 min into the game, Jordan Ayew opened the scoring for the visitors to give the Eagles a reassuring lead.

With Man Utd hoping to make an equaliser, the Penalty from Marcus Rashford was stopped by the post as the keeper went theopposite direction.

However, a goal from Daniel James in the dying minute of the second half gave Man United hope to earn a point or three.

But that wasn’t the case, as Patrick van Aanholt in the 93rd min, broke into the United half and fired past David de Gea to secure Palace an excellent three points.

The victory earned by the Eagle at Old Trafford was record breaking. As for the visitors this will be the first time after 31 years to defeat Man United at their home.
