Multichoice, owners of Digital Satellite Television (DSTV) has closed its call centre in Nigeria on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
The organisation disclosed this via its verified Twitter handle @ DSTV Nigeria.
The tweet reads, “Dear Customer, Please note that our call-center is currently unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

The closure of the call centre may not be unconnected to retaliatory attacks on South African companies domiciled in Nigeria.
Recall that Nigerian businesses were burnt and looted by South Africans in the recent xenophobic attacks on foreigners.
