English Football Association has fined Everton defender Yerry Mina, £10,000 for breaching betting regulations, reported Supersport.

The defender was said to appear in a video promoting the betting company Bejuego in his native Colombia tongue, which was a total disregard, on the part of the centre back, to the law that prohibited players, coaches and officials from promoting or advertising any betting activity related to football.

The report cited FA saying in a statement that the player had admitted to a misconduct charge.
