Firmino’s late goal earns Liverpool a 2-1 win against Crystal Palace

Liverpool pulled another late win against Crystal Palace as effort from Firmino in the closing minutes put a bow on it.

The first half ended with no goals as VAR denied Crystal Palace their opening goal as a result of a controversial foul on Lovren by Ayew. But 49 minutes into the second half, Mane gave his side the leading advantage.

Zaha, in his first goal of the season, put his team back into the game within 5 minutes into injury time.

Liverpool in its current trend of pulling a late winner, found the net with a goal from Firmino to secure 3 points to resume their remarkable start to the campaign.

Liverpool are currently 37 points after 12 wins from their opening 13 matches.
