Kogi Guber: Gov Yahaya Bello coasting to Victory




Gov Yahaya Bello of Kogi State

Kogi state governor and candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Yahaya Bello is coasting to victory in the Saturday governorship election after the announcement of results in 13 local government areas.

Governor Bello has polled 310,510 from the 13 local government results announced while his rival, Engr. Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has 89,177 votes so far.

The APC candidate, Bello defeated his main opponent in Okene, Adavi, Kabba Bunu, Kogi Korton Karfe, Ijumu, Okehi , Olamaboro and Ogori Magongo.

While Wada cleared Yagba West, Yagba East, Omala, Igalamela Odolu and Idah.

Results are still be awaited in the remaining 8 local government areas of the state.
