Defending Champion, Manchester City defeated Everton 3 goals to 1 to maintain their second position on the English Premiership League table.

Goals from Gabriel Jesus, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling were enough to secure 3 maximum points for the Citizens at Goodison Park.

Jesus netted the opener in the 24th minute with a diving header whie Dominic Calvert-Levein equalised for Everton with a header on 33 minutes

Man City restored their lead in the 71st minute via Mahrez’s curling free kick and Sterling made it 3 in the 85 minutes to secure the win for the visitors.
