Super Eagles defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi scored his second goal of the 2019/2020 English Premier League season in the 5-0 bashing of Newcastle United.
Ndidi scored the 5th goal in the 90 minutes to complete the total demotion of Leicester City’s opponent at the King Power Stadium on Sunday.
Aside the goal, the 22 year-old completed 91% of his passes, won an incredible 9 tackles, made a game high 5 interceptions, won 11 of his fifteen ground duels plus 10 of his 14 aerial duels while 100% of his long balls reached their predetermined destinations.
His all-round performance won him the BBC man-of-the- match award ahead of 2-goal hero, Jamie Vardy.
Leicester City opened the scoring on the 16th minutes through Ricardo Pereira’s strike.
Newcastle were reduced to 10 men after Isaac was sent off in the 43 minutes.
Jamie Vardy scored in the 54 and 64 minutes to take his goals for the season tally to 5.
Paul Dummett netted an own goal in the 57 minutes before Ndidi warped up the goals.
