Ndidi spoils Lampard’s homecomimg as Chelsea coach

It was yet another winless performance from Chelsea as they were held to a one- all draw by Leicester City on Sunday.

The match which was Frank Lampard’s homecoming as Chelsea boss got off to a good start for the host when they took the lead on the seven minutes through Mason Mount well taken goal.

Nigerian midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi redeemed himself with the equaliser on the 76th minutes from James Maddison’s pinpoint corner to silent the Stamford Bridge crowd . The goal covered up for his carelessness when he was robbed of the ball by Mason Mount for Chelsea goal.

Ndidi was the spoiler for the day after Chelsea supporters have given Lampard a spectacular ovation ahead of kickoff, 

The result means Lamapard is yet to win any competitive match as a Chelsea coach.
