According to Daily Trust, Captain Tijani grew up in Tudun Fera area of Jos, Plateau state and was popularly called Teejay and Tijjani Dan Fari (light-skinned Tijjani).
It was gathered that Captai Tijani joined the Army’s 35 Regular In-take of 1993, just before former President Ibrahim Babangida created the now disbanded National Guards.
It would be recall that Wadume said Captain Tijani who helped him escape arrest was on his pay roll and he added that he paid huge amount of money into his account three weeks before his arrest.
Wadume also disclosed that he paid N20,000 at every security checkpoint to avoid arrest.
In his confession, Wadume said, Captain ordered soldiers to open fire on the police who arrested him in Taraba and took him to his house where a welder cut off the hand and leg chains.
