Premier League managers react on Mourinho’s return


Premier League managers have expressed their view on return of Jose Mourinho since his exit in December.

Mourinho’s appointment as Tottenham manager was met with mixed feelings. Ahead of his first game back in management, Coaches in the league have commented on what his arrival brings to the game.

Pep Guardiola

“Welcome back. He’s an incredible manager, I’m pretty sure he will do a good job.”

Jurgen Klopp

The Liverpool boss welcomed him and is glad to see Mourinho back in the league: “He was desperate, you could see in the time when he was not in work.

“And Jose is highly motivated, so that will be interesting as well.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

The Manchester manager feels the pressure of the media will reduce on him as attention would be directed towards Mourinho.

“You like Jose coming back and it’s going to be a spectacle and a circus.”

Unai Emery

The Arsenal Coach who has been under fire lately feels Mourihno’s appointment wouldn’t make a difference to the club’s performance.

“[Jose] is a very good coach, his career is strong with titles and experience and I think also Pochettino working in Tottenham was amazing,” he added.

Tottenham will be playing against West Ham on Saturday and this will be mourinho’s first test in charge of the team.
