Robben and Ribery sits on the bench for last game as Bayern poised for title

Bayern Munich veteran wingers, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are looking forward to achieving their last title medal ahead of today’s title-deciding clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Fans have been appreciating the wingers who were reportedly close to tears as they and fellow departing veteran Rafinha were presented to the Allianz Arena for one last time.

Bayern  coach Niko Kovac paid  tribute to the players saying that they have defined an era at the club. He said he would have started them, but  have to make sporting decisions.

Robben and Ribery will both leave Bayern this summer after 10 and 12 years of respective service. They won numerous domestic trophies and the Champions League with Bayern in 2013.  Though starting as substitutes,  a win or draw on Saturday would earn an eighth Bundesliga title for Robben and a record ninth crown for Ribery.

Should Bayern lose to Eintracht, Borussia Dortmund could win the title with victory away to Borussia Moenchengladbach.
