The Super Eagles of Nigeria will tackle five-time world champions Brazil in a friendly match on 13th of October at the Singapore National Stadium.
The coordinator of Brazil national team, Juninho Paulista admitted that Senegal (20th of FIFA Ranking) and Nigeria (33rd) will be good oppositions for the Selecao during October FIFA window.
Brazil will face the Teranga Lions of Senegal on October 10 at the same venue before tackling the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Speaking about the October friendly with Brazil, NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi said it will be a good outing for the Super Eagles, stating that it is not everyday that you get to Brazil.
Hesaid “We are happy to have sealed this encounter with Brazil, the five-time champions of the world. It is not everyday that you get to Brazil, and I think it is very good for our young team.
“The Nigeria Football Federation must also commend Eurodata Sport, our FIFA –licensed Match Agent, for pulling this off. Having said that, the focus now is on getting an African team for the Super Eagles as a second match for the FIFA window in October, ahead of their 2021 AFCON qualifying matches in November”.
