The 2019/2020 UEFA Europa League commenced last night (Thursday) with matches across Europe.

It was a fair outing for English sides compared to their performance in the Champions League with Arsenal getting the maximum 3 points plus 3 goals away at Frankfurt in Germany.

Manchester United struggled to a lone goal victory over lowly ranted Astana at Old Trafford with MasonnGreenwood with the lone strike.

Fellow English side, Wolves suffered a shock one nil loss at home to Braga of Portugal.

Other big winners of the night aside Arsenal are AS Roma, Basel FC of Switzerland,Wolfsberg of Austria, Ludogorets of Bulgaria, Seville of Spain.
