US, Nigeria strategises to defeat ISIS

The United States and Nigeria is convening a virtual meeting Tuesday, with members of the Global Coalition, to defeat ISIS.

A statement by the US Embassy says this is to support international efforts, outline ISIS threat in West Africa and focus on ways the Coalition can strengthen its approach in specific areas, such as battlefield evidence and border security.

The United States, and the eighty-two member global Coalition it leads, remain fully committed to the enduring defeat of ISIS, which is critical to U.S. national security and its partners, the statement adds.
