Xenophobia: Ezekwesili calls on Buhari to take decisive actions

Former Minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to take decisive actions to protect the lives and properties of Nigerians in South Africa.

Ezekwesili took to twitter to call on Buhari to put a stop to the killings of Nigerians that have gone on for too long without effective response.

She said it is time to be candid that the bilateral relations with South Africa is troubled.

Her tweet reads:

Dear President @MBuhari and @NigeriaGov , it is time to take decisive actions to protect our Citizens in South Africa. The maiming and killings have gone on for too long without effective response. The bilateral relations with South Africa is troubled. It is time to be CANDID.

In a similar vein, she challenged President Cyril Ramaphosa to please stop the killings stating that it ” dishonors everything our collective fight for freedom was about”.
