Governor, Yahaya Bello of Kogi State reportedly stopped at Gwagwalada, along the Abuja – Lokoja Road to spray money on passers-by.
Bello’s act of generosity was said to have caused a 10 minutes gridlock on the ever busy road.
According to Daily Trust, the governor, who was heading to Lokoja in a long convoy slowed down at Madam Mercy Junction and brought out three bundles of N500 notes and threw them out at passers-by.
It was also reported that he wind down the glass of his vehicle and flashed four fingers on both hands.
Touts at the Wazobia Park, sang his praise as they rushed to have their share of the rain of naira notes.
The touts were not the beneficiaries of the free for all money. Even pedestrians, petty traders and even Okada riders all dashed to partake of the governor’s give away.
